Now well into their fourth year, the Sambalanco residents (Dave Blackgrove, Riley & Simon Alvaro) have earned a solid reputation for their diverse and quality music policy. They’ve gained an equally good rep for the sessions they’ve built around that.
Sambalanco currently hold the monthly 'Disco Hut' session in Keningtons South London Pacific. Not the most likely venue but a brilliant one that brings the very best out of the crowd!
From all sides, they’ve been pushing quality music taken from a global funk spectrum. From the Jazz scene to the Dance world these guys hold there own.
The residents have left a gig trail that circles the globe and saturates London especially. On top of that, working connections with Hospital Records, Coda Agency and the heaviest of Londons music scene are proof of the dynamic quality on Sambalanco.
The basis of Sambalanco is Good Fresh Music, People Together and Diversity. Simple and Important stuff!
