Mumdance rocked TT with us!

Well.. people were talking up this grudge-match for minutes before hand,
but when Mumdance joined us for Typically Tropical in Jan, we're pleased to say we all absolutely smashed it.

Only the dance floor took a pounding and thankfully, we all survived to tell the tale!

Credit to the excellent crowd.
Bring on the rematch.

Big shout..

Massive thanks to the mighty Yaaba Funk who truly got our NYE session busting! Those kids are on fire. Keep your
eyes peeled for more big things from them.

Big ups also due to Soul Jazz Soundsystem for a blisteringly good set to kick of the new year properly.

Lastly, massive love to everyone who turned out to make the session so good!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

The Disco Hut monthly sessions resumes in Feb as we didn't fancy stepping up on Jan 2nd for any kind of mischief!
14th December 2009
December has done it!

Our record bags have certainly done us well this month.

- Our monthly 'Disco Hut' session went 'off' as they say.. A great end to the year.

- Hosting Typically Tropcial at The rest Is Noise last Friday landed us in the heat proper with a massive closing set of heavy afro / broken tribal rhythms. One of those sets we should have recorded, but didn't.. Thankfully, there were plenty of people to whitness it live!

- We've also completed two 'Keep It Christmas' sessions, with one more to go, this Sunday.
If you haven't squeezed in yet, here's your last chance. Don't miss the mulled wine, mince pies and cosy Christmas beats!

AND FINALLY......
As if you need reminding, our NYE session is coming this way with ten tons of weight behind it.
If any of your friends are planning to join you, tell them to get their tickets in quick, otherwise they'll be leaving it to getting a ticket on the door... Scary.

So.. A Massive HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all of you.

We've put together a massive line up this year, and might we say, we're very proud!
